HOW UPVC TILT AND TURNS WORK

UPVC Tilt and Turns are simplicity itself to operate. By just twisting the handle you can tilt the window inwards so that it provides an opening at the top which is ideal for providing the right amount of ventilation. To open the window completely, you just turn the handle half way down and the window swings open inwards. There is also a limiter on the window so that it doesn't open too wide, this provides a safety mechanism if you have young children around.

As the window opens inwards, you can clean both sides of the glass and the complete frame without the need for a window cleaner or ladders. This is a much safer and convenient arrangement and as they are UPVC, that is all the maintenance they will require.
